MBABANE – Former Sihlangu mentor Harries Madze Bulunga has all the reasons to be calm, following a thumbs up from his new employers Green Mamba, despite that he did not meet his intended targets.

Ntshangase made these remarks yesterday when he was asked about the coach’s performance.
“We are happy about Bulunga because he has done well since taking over. If he was not at the helm of the team, they could have been relegated. He has done his utmost best and this is why we are going to retain him next season,” said Ntshangase.
The former Sihlangu coach said he was not in a position to comment on his performance.

“Well I believe I cannot report to the media on my performance. I will have to write a report and give it to my bosses; right now I am not in a position to comment on that. Well, coming to our last league game against Young Buffaloes, we are very much focused and we want to win this game so that we can finish the league on a high note,” Bulunga said.

The former Umbelebele Jomo Cosmos coach  joined Green Mamba in January after his contract was not renewed as Sihlangu Head coach in September last year.

Bulunga replaced Zimbabwean mentor Herbert Maruwa after he was sacked following his poor run in the league and his last 16 Ingwenyama Cup exit.
Since taking over, Bulunga has won only two games, drawn twice and lost three league games. Bulunga’s troops lost 3-2 to Manzini Wanderers in the last 16 of the SwaziBank Cup. Maruwa on the other hand, out of the 14 games he managed to win six games, lose five games and drew three league games.
