‘SIKHALI’, BROCKIE TOP CAF CONFED CUP SCORERS’ CHART

MBABANE – Goal-a-game striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa is on the hunt for the CAF Confederation Cup golden boot.


The Mbabane Swallows and Sihlangu forward is tied at five goals apiece with South Africa’s Supersport United’s Jeremy Brockie. The duo’s nearest challengers, on three goals is Supersport’s Thabo Mnyamane and Benson Shilongo of South Africa’s Platinum Stars. Interestingly, all Shilongo’s goals were scored from the penalty spot.


Four other Swallows players are on two goals each; inspirational captain Tony Tsabedze, wing wizard Wonder ‘Samba Jive’ Nhleko, combative midfielder Papy Kabamba and walking football brain box Banele ‘Pupu’ Sikhondze. Swallows are preparing to welcome MC Alger of Algeria in their third group B match at Somhlolo National Stadium in a game slated for Friday, 3pm.
