MANZINI – Ngwane Park midfielder Mhlengi Mngometulu capped his brilliant display with a wonderful strike to inspire Ngwane High School into an emphatic 3-0 victory over Emvimbeko.

This was during the Swaziland School Sports Association (SSSA) Copa Coca Cola games held at Manzini Club yesterday.
Ngwane High will now represent the Manzini region in the inter-regional competition, which will see other three schools from Hhohho (KaShiele), Shiselweni (Salem) and Lubombo (Matsetsa) battle for the trophy. The semi-finals will be played tomorrow at the same venue.

It was not an easy road for the Nsindiso Gama-led charges as they had to beat Ekuphakameni High School1-0 in the semi-finals to book a spot in the finals earlier on the day. On the other hand, Emvimbeko High also had a hard time against Mliba High but they eventually won 4-2 in semi-finals but only to lose 3-0 in the finals.

Coming to the game, it was a one-sided affair with Ngwane High midfielder Mhlengi Mngometulu having a field day in the middle of the park, as he distributed killer passes that left the opponents defenders exposed.
After missing a couple of chances, Ngwane High finally broke the deadlock via Lungelo Dlamini. He received a through pass from undoubtedly man of the match Mngometulu and unleashed a volley from inside the box to make it 1-0 when the game was 25 minutes old.

Ludzeludze Brothers player, Mthobisi Mazibuko doubled matters just when the game was 32 minutes old. He scored via a well taken free kick which went past Emvimbeko High goalkeeper Mpilonhle Dlamini.
