KING’S CUP ANCHOR SPONSORS POUR IN MORE THAN E1 MILLION
MBABANE – With light showers sweeping past the country in the early hours of yesterday morning, the King’s Cup Golf anchor sponsors rained E1 000 500 towards the tournament.
His Majesty King Mswati III, the brainchild of the tournament, received cheques from the event’s anchor sponsors on the wee hours of yesterday at Ludzidzini Royal Residence. Also present were Ministers of Tourism and Environmental Affairs Christopher Gamedze and Phiwayinkhosi Mabuza of Housing and Urban Development, and members of the King’s Cup organising committee, among others.
The 14th edition of the now internationally followed King’s Cup Golf teed off yesterday at the Royal Swazi Spa in Ezulwini, with His Majesty expected to take to the greens on Thursday.
