MBABANE –  Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga has broken his silence on his sacking at Green Mamba.

Just eight games into the season, the former Sihlangu coach was shown the exit door following poor start. He managed to win three games, lost four and drew once. The team’s target last season was to finish inside the top four bracket, unfortunately, the Correctional side were seventh by the end of the season. Bulunga has described his sacking as an unexpected breakdown. “I am still on break, following the unexpected breakdown of my relationship with Green Mamba. I will weigh my options next week whether I take any offers on the table or stay away from football until next season,” Bulunga said.

He further said he could not comment much on Green Mamba’s decision to sack him except to accept it and move on with life. He hinted that there were teams after his services but would not want to divulge their identity. ‘Madze’ joined Green Mamba on January 4, 2017. He has been in office for nine months, 22 days. Former Vovovo coach Caleb Ngwenya has since replaced the former Umbelebele coach. On the other hand, Bulunga had been recommended by coach Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini as a perfect choice for Moneni Pirates if he decides to  leave the ‘Sea Robbers’.
