MBABANE – Ambitious side Matsapha United begin their chase for a second career title when they visit unpredictable National First Division side Milling Hotspurs this afternoon.

The reigning National First Division champions are in pursuit of second straight appearance in the last 16 place of the prestigious tournament. They lost 0-1 in the second round to Manzini Sundowns in the tournament’s last outing.  However, the ‘Deep Blue Ocean’ will be buoyed by the performance in the SwaziBank Cup, reaching the final in April this year.

Standing in their way will be Hotspurs, who have taken the National First Division by storm. The latter are in the top five and among the early contenders for promotion.  The visitors are favourites on paper, but they have to be wary against the daring opposition.

Citizens eager to end Cup jinx

MBABANE – National First Division log leaders Mbabane Citizens are in chase of their first appearance in the last 16 at the expense of Ingwenyama Cup regional tournament runners-up, Young Movers.
Citizens are unbeaten in all their 12 games and their resolve will be put to the test against the hard fighting opposition, who have less pressure.
