MBABANE – Seeing double! This seems to be the case for soccer fans as Mbabane Citizens’ Zweli Ntshangase is a splitting image of Mbabane Swallows striker Felix Badenhorst, and this has even earned him the nickname ‘Fela’.

The 20-year-old raised eyebrows when he was introduced during the game against Milling Hot Spurs as a majority of the fans thought it was the Swallows midfielder as he resembles him with facial appearance and physique.
Ntshangase said since he was young, people likened him to Badenhorst and he was now used to it.

“I earned the nickname ‘Fela’ after people claimed that I look like him. We are not related but as a senior player to me, I look up to him. He has achieved a lot in football and I hope one day I will be where he is,” he said.

Citizens reached the semi-finals of the Ingwenyama Cup for the first time after beating another National First Division League side Milling Hot Spurs. They won 2-0 at the game played at Somhlolo National Stadium last Saturday.

They will face either Mbabane Swallows, Young Buffaloes and Royal Leopard in the semi-finals after they all advanced over the weekend. Citizens are already guaranteed E230 000 for reaching the semi-finals and also being the best finisher in the tournament from the national first division league.
