MBABANE – Lesotho’s Bantu FC will visit Mbabane Swallows on Wednesday, February 21.

The CAF Champions League preliminary round first second leg clash was initially scheduled for February 18, but it will now be played three days later.

Swallows General Manager Sandile Zwane confirmed the date, stressing that it was beyond his office’s control.
“CAF gave us two options: We had to either host the game on February 20 or the following day. We chose the latter.

“It will be played at 4pm, as the lighting system at Somhlolo National Stadium is not in the standard required by CAF,” said Zwane.
Zwane said other logistics of the game, that include the entry fees, would be confirmed in due course.

The visitors also confirmed the latest developments on their official Twitter page.
“Our CAF Champions League second leg game against Mbabane Swallows will be played on February 21 and not the 18th,” ‘tweeted’ Bantu FC.

Swallows will play the first leg away at Sesotho Stadium in Maseru on Sunday, February 11. Travelling costs for supporters range between E350 and E600. Those who will want to be accommodated in Lesotho will pay the higher amount (E600).

Bantu FC fans, on other hand, are also said to be mobilising one another in a bid to fill up Somhlolo National Stadium. Each fan pays up E520 (M520) for the trip to Lobamba.
