TAMBUTI OUT TO EVADE WARRIORS

MBABANE – Only one elite team fell over the weekend and that is Red Lions.

They lost 2-1 to Hhohho Super League outfit Zibonelo Vultures in Pigg’s Peak’s Killerny Stadium.
The Last 32 did not play to completion as one fixture had to be called off following City Warriors appeal in Lubombo Regional Football Association which they won on Friday night.
The only pending game is taking place this evening and fans in Big-Bend can brace themselves for the Uyayifuna Na action.

On paper, you expect the elite to have it easy against their minnows but it is not always the case – giants fall thick and fast in Cup tournaments.
Can Tambuti survive their rivals tonight? Or will they become the second elite team to be knocked out?

Odds favour them but inside the field of play, it will be a different ball game altogether and coach Texan Phiri must tell his players they need to bury it early on and never take their foot off the pedal or they will live things open.
It’s anyone’s game but Tambuti must show character and advance to the Last 16 like the rest of the other 12 elite sides, including all big three teams and all the three forces sides.
Whoever wants the most, will come prepared well enough.
