MBABANE – Mbabane Swallows coach Thabo ‘Koki’ Vilakati has declared war against Zanaco FC in the second leg of the CAF Champions League.

Vilakati said the match billed for Saturday at Somhlolo National Stadium at 3pm, is a must win for the team as they represent the country.

Vilakati said the spirit in the team was high after the devastating loss to Green Mamba in the SwaziBank Cup last 16 matches.
“The players showed maturity as they have put aside the 0-1 loss to Green Mamba, and they are looking forward to the game against Zanaco.

“They are not depressed anymore but cracking jokes and laughing while working hard,” he said.
Vilakati said it is important that they approach the game with a positive mind. Swallows were 2-1 victorious in the first leg in Zambia.
A win will guarantee them a place in the group stages of the tournament, where they are set to pocket about E6.6 million participation fee for reaching the group stages.

“There is only one way out. It is like we are in a tunnel and there is only one way out once you are inside. There is no turning back. From tomorrow, the team will go to camp as I want the players to focus on the game and also train privately,” he said.
Swallows is injury free ahead of the match. The team trained at Somhlolo National Stadium yesterday evening.

Swallows captain Tony ‘TT’ Tsabedze said they have moved forward from the defeat on Sunday and were focusing on the future.
“We have two crucial games coming our way and to focus on the past won’t help us in any way.
