MBABANE – The 11 swimmers to compete in the CANA Zone IV championships in Malawi will spend Saturday in a training camp.

The squad, led by Coach Chris Stapley, will assemble at Enjabulweni swimming pool, Manzini at 9am to do their last preparations before leaving the country for Malawi on Sunday. The championships will start on Sunday and end on the 24th.

Only the duo of Liam Emmett and Lungelo Nxumalo will not be present for the training camp due to school commitments in South Arica and they will join the team there for the Malawi trip.

The rest of the squad members are Damien De Sousa, Simphiwe Dlamini, Senamile Dlamini, Swakhile Dlamini, Hayley Hoy, Luaren Young, Robyn Young, Jessica Njoroge and Nadia Volschenk. The manager of the swimmers is Linda Hoy.

Swaziland National Swimming Association (SNSA) President Berger Nxumalo announced the team during the Nedbank National Championships held a fortnight ago at Sifundzani Primary.
SNSA Secretary Lee Ann Young confirmed the camp yesterday.
