ABOUT E100 000 FOR ENJABULWENI MTB RACE
MBABANE – Buy ’n Save Spar is a true friend to cyclists. This comes after the confirmation of a sponsorship worth about E100 000 towards hosting the Enjabulweni MTB Cycle race billed for April 7 in Manzini. The launch of the event was held yesterday at Manzini SuperSpar.
Present during the launch was Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Under Secretary Nhlanhla Motsa, who represented Minister David ‘Cruiser’ Ngcamphalala, Swaziland National Sports and Recreation Council (SNSRC) CEO Darius Dlomo, Enjabulweni Head Kathy Thompson, Buy’n Save Ethekweni Manager Musa Dlamini and Mbusi Motsa among others.
The race will the sixth edition and second year under the Buy ’n Save Spar sponsorship. Last year, the event was sponsored to the tune of E50 000 and this year it has an increment of 100 per cent.
Buy’n Save Spar’s Musa Dlamini said they were happy to have partnered with Enjabulweni in hosting the event.
“Buy’n Save Spar cares and this is one way we are showing our support to cyclist and all those who will be attending on the day as it is not only for cyclists but a family fun day where everyone is expected to attend and enjoy the day,” he said. Enjabulweni Head Kathy Thompson said the support they were receiving from the Minister and SNSRC was over whelming.
