PLS Chief Operating Officer Pat Vilakati confirmed that the three were the 2017/18 MTN National First Division top scorers.

“They will only get this amount during the MTN presentation, the date of the presentation will be revealed in due course. As per the rules, they will have to share this amount,” Vilakati said.

Coming second was Mahlalini striker, Sanele Mabuza, with nine goals while Mbabane Citizens Mancoba Vilakati and Manzini Sea Birds’ Bhekumuzi Mamba’s are third with eight goals.

The duo of Muzi Tsabedze was instrumental in helping their team back into the elite league. Sea Birds won the league after beating Mbabane Citizens 2-0 in the MTN National First Division decider. They provided assist to eventually scorers in Mfundo Zwane and Wandile Nhleko.

They won the league on 47 points while Citizens were runners-up with 46 points. Despite crumbling in the last games, Citizens have been promoted to the elite league with Sea Birds.
