VILAKATI BROTHERS SHINE IN SRIC BUSINESS LEAGUE

EZULWINI - The pair of Teddy and Mpumelelo Vilakati were the winners of the SRIC Business League.


The Vilakati brothers carded an impressive score of 48 to win the Swaziland Royal Insurance Corporation (SRIC) sponsored monthly Business League that was played at Ezulwini Golf Course yesterday.


Coming second was Sam Mzileni and Albert Zungu on 47 points while Willard Mkhwanazi and SRIC’s Mandla Dlamini came third, ahead of Patson Dlamini and John Mngometulu after a count back of 46 points.

Teddy said they had grown accustomed to playing along side each other thus they shone on the day. “He is good on long drives and my strength is in putting. We are just a perfect combination and we will be untouchable on Saturday during the SRIC Monthly Mug,” Teddy said.


Meanwhile, in the ladies category, which was introduced yesterday, Phumlile Zwane was the fairest of them all with 31 points and she was closely followed by Nokuthula Dlamini. Nomvuyo Dludlu managed to snatch the third spot ahead of Swazi Mobile’s Fisiwe Vilane by 28 points. The latter recorded 22 points. In the novelties, Kerwin Fortune won the longest drive award while  Mlamuli Dlamini took  the award for nearest pin 3rd.
