MBABANE – Despite being one of the oldest players in the MTN Premier League, Mbabane Swallows captain Tony Tsabedze is one of the most expensive players.

According to the transfermarket.co.uk the former Supersports United player is worth £135 000 which is equavalent to E2 446 70.The transfer market website compared Tsabedze to their CAF Chmapions opponent, Etoile De Sahel’s most valued player, Hamza Lahmar.The latter is worth £810 000 which is equavalent to  E14 680 20 according to the latest market exchange of the Pound to Rand.

The two sides will cross swords in the Group D of the CAF Champions League on July 17 at Mavuso Sports Centre.The Tunisian side is curently leading the pack with four points. They managed to beat Zambian side, Zesco United 2-1 and played to a 1-all draw with Desportivo De Agosto.

Mbabane Swallows are second with four points. They played to a 1-all draw against Zambia’s Zesco United away and managed to snatch a 1-0 win from Angola’s Desportivo De Agosto.

Etoile according to the latest CAF ranking is ranked fourth in Africa while Swallows are perched on position 22.Zesco United are ranked 7th with Agosto at position 32 in Africa.
