SWIM LAB SHINES IN MPUMALANGA CHAMPS

MBABANE – Swim Lab swimmers conquered in the Mpumalanga Winter Championships held in  Nelspruit, South Africa.


They brought home eight gold medals, seven silver medals and six bronze medals. The team had sent a squad of 19 swimmers. The competitions started on Friday with the last day being Sunday. In the absence of the clubs’ coach Welcome Nhlabatsi, who was away in Algeria with the ANOCA team, Coach Meluleki Simelane took over.


The squad included dominant swimmers including Simanga Dlamini, Hayley Hoy, Damien De Sousa, Siwakhile Dlamini and Lauren Young among others. Others were Sithembiso Mamba,  Jason Njeroge, Tiano Fraser, Lucah Fraser, Pedro De Sousa, Faid Karish, Henad Karish, Jake Carva, Cameron Jele, Jessica Njeroge, Raya Young, Najma Karish, Nina Hlophe and Eryn Webb.
