E150 000 FOR YELLOW EPILEPSY GOLF TOURNEY

EZULWINI – Lidwala Insurance has maintained the E150 000 sponsorship for the Epilepsy Golf Day.

Golfers will on September 15 take to the greens of Mananga Golf Course for the annual golf tournament.
This is after the tournament was officially launched at Swazi MTN Headquarters in Ezulwini yesterday. Speaking during the launch, Prince Bandzile, who is a patron of the Swaziland Epilepsy Organisation (SEO), welcomed the support by Lidwala Insurance company, which pumped  in E300 000 in two years.

“We want thank Lidwala Insurance for the continued support. We are very much pleased with their partnership. We urge other companies to come and partner and raise the awareness on epilepsy. We want to urge other companies not only to support us, but to also support our non-profit organisation so that everyone benefits,” the prince said.

Meanwhile, Lidwala Insurance General Manager Alfred Madondo said they were happy about their partnership, something which prompted the continued support.

“The sponsorship just reinforces our commitment to this project. We do hope our partnership will be ‘exponential’. We want to assure our stakeholders that we will continue to support this project even next year,” Madondo said.
SEO National Director Mbusomuni Mahlalela thanked Lidwala Insurance for the support once again.

“Without Lidwala our social corporate responsibility would not be that much effective. We really appreciate their support as it also helps us not to only raise awareness on epilepsy through sports, but also help us to raise funds for a number of other similar projects that we have. We are also looking forward to hosting a half marathon next year,” Mahlalela said.
