MBABANE – The buzzword among the 11th Parliament hopefuls from the sport fraternity is development.

Legislators’ duties in Parliament include participating in debates and voting on legislation. They may also be members of committees examining new laws or the work of government departments.

While they also need to ‘satisfy’ the needs of their constituents, they are also required to be robust in debates on sports issues.
The nominees include former Sihlangu coach Harries ‘Madze’ Bulunga and Robert Magongo from Mbabane Swallows. The latter stresses on the need to build at least two big stadia to accommodate the swelling numbers of football loyalists.

Below some of the nominees from the sports fraternity who have joined the national elections share their views ahead of the last hurdle, which is set for September 21.
