MBABANE – The football family is over the moon after the appointment of former MTN Eswatini CEO Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini as the new Prime Minister.

Dlamini was announced by His Majesty King Mswati III as the new PM last Saturday. A statement from the Eswatini Football Association (EFA) Marketing and Communications Officer Muzi Radebe said they wished Dlamini success.

“The football association, on behalf of the football family, would like to extend its humbleness and appreciation to His Majesty King Mswati III on the appointment of the new Right Honourable Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Eswatini, Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini, who will steward His Majesty’s Government for the next term of government.

“Bayethe Wena Waphakathi,” reads the statement.
Radebe said the association would congratulated the new PM on his new assignment of leading His Majesty’s Government.
“As a football association and family, we are committed to support him as he assumes his new duties assigned by Their Majesties. Our best wishes of prosperity, affluence and success are henceforth due to him in this regard.

“Finally, we also wish the full complement of both houses of Parliament for being Members of Parliament (MPs) as they execute their duties for the next five years, entrusted with the parliamentary role of the 11th Parliament of the Kingdom of Eswatini,” it concluded.
