MBABANE – National First Division table toppers Black Swallows have made their biggest catch yet in Togolese import Panawe Talbousouma.

The gangling forward, who was at Premier League side Mbabane Citizens in the first leg of the current season, was in good scoring form before he suffered a terrible injury over two months ago.

On recovery this week, the player, who has scored more than three times in less than eight games, left Citizens for Black Swallows, where he has penned a six-month deal.

He will miss today’s fixture against Hlatikhulu Tycoons, as he will only start training with Black Swallows on Monday next week.
Black Swallows Chairman Charles Matsebula confirmed the signing of the prolific forward, saying he was one of the players they needed to add depth and quality in the side.

“He will be with us until the end of the season and there is an option to renew,” said Matsebula.
Citizens representative in the Premier League Governors Mandla Simelane confirmed that the two parties parted ways, saying the player was released following the injury.

Black Swallows, who are currently three points clear at the summit, have recently signed veteran defender Siyabonga ‘Msholozi’ Mdluli from Green Mamba.
