WINILE AGAINST NZALO IN TUFF ONE

MBABANE – The real battle will be in the ladies 21km where Winile Mnisi will face off with Sithembile Nzalo.

The Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) athlete, Mnisi, has been dominant in the country’s half marathon races but she was shocked a fortnight ago by TZD Athletics Club Sithembile Nzalo, who snatched the first prize in the 21km women’s category.
Nzalo finished on 1:36:22 hours while Mnisi was second on 1:40:56 hours.

The stage is set for the ‘Tuff One’ to be held at Zakhele Sports Ground, starting time, 6am.  The winners on the day will take home E2 600 in both men and women categories.
In the men’s category, Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF) is expected to lead the way, especially with Melusi Sihlongonyane, who is unstoppable in the 21km. He recently won the Yellow Epilepsy Charity Half Marathon held at Sikhuphe on time of 1:12:56 hours. Others who are expected to give Sihlongonyane a challenge are Nkululeko Gama, Michael Ndaba, Sifiso Sibandze and Mxolisi Mamba, among others.
