HAYLEY BREAKS 11-YEAR-OLD RECORD

MBABANE – Swim Lab swimmer Hayley Hoy broke a record in every competition she competed in.


She broke the national record in the opening of the Eswatini Swimming Association (ESA) National Championships held at Sifundzani Primary on Tuesday afternoon. She broke a national record of 26:24:86 minutes in the 1 500m category, set by A.

Richter in 2008. Hoy clocked 23:23:25 minutes to be the record holder. The 10-year-old has been unstoppable, breaking records in almost all competitions she participated in. She is expected to be among the best performers in the ongoing championships at Sifundzani Primary. 

She won the 1 500m on Tuesday afternoon where she was competing with swimmers including Siwakhile Dlamini, Keana Toepfer, Nina Hlophe and Kyla Webb.
