Taribo sings Swallows' praises

MBABANE – Swazi international, Taribo Bhembe sung nothing but praises for his former team, Mbabane Swallows, which he said has greatly improved.

In a post-match inquest after the international friendly match, Bhembe said he was impressed with his former team’s performance during the match played at the Somhlolo National Stadium on Saturday.

“I must say that from the time I was with them I have seen a lot of positive changes within the team in as far as their style of play is concerned. However, it goes without saying that there is room for improvement especially because they are gearing up for the CAF Champions League,” he said.

The talented striker said it was part of his plans to haunt the team in order to expose their loopholes, as they are preparing for the games.
He said since they were able to identify some of their mistakes during the match, they would be in a better position to correct them in time for the tournament, in which they will play South African side SuperSport United in the preliminary stages scheduled for next month.

“From what I saw here today, I believe Swallows have what it takes to make it in the CAF tournament. However, they still need to build their confidence, strengthen the communication in the defence and also try to maintain their style of play throughout the entire match, something they failed to do in this match.
Otherwise the sky is the limit for them,” he said.
