SPAR’S E95 000 FOR ENJABULWENI MTB RACE
MANZINI – Buy ‘n Save Spar has pumped in E95 000 for the seventh edition of the Enjabulweni MTB Race.
This is an increment of E25 000 as compared to the past year. The good news was delivered by Operations Manager Johan Lues during the launch of the event at Ocean Basket in Manzini yesterday. The race, which is set for April 6, is divided into five categories namely; the 55km, 35km, 20km, 10km and 5km. All the races will start and finish at Enjabulweni School.
To take part in the main race, cyclists will have to pay E160 while it will be E150 and E140 to join the 35km and 20km, respectively. For the 10km and 5km, participants will have to part with E80.
“We are happy to continue partnering with Enjabulweni Schools because we believe they are our customers. For us it’s more about giving back to the community and that is why this year we have contributed E95 000 toward this project,” Lues disclosed.
Meanwhile, Enjabulweni School Head teacher Kathy Thompson said they were grateful for the continued support by the Buy ‘n Save Spar.
“It is rare to find companies sponsoring a family fun day and a race like this one. We appreciate their contribution. This is more of a family day than a race because we have all kinds of fun activities, which all promote the spirit of fitness and health,” Thompson said.
Entry forms will be available at Adventure Sport shops in Mbabane and Manzini, Enjabulweni School and Buy ‘n Save Spar. They are also available online at www.enjabulweni.co.sz. The registration is already open and the deadline is on April 4.
