BRISK EX-DPM BACK IN BOOT CAMP
MBABANE – Former Deputy Prime Minister Paul Dlamini still has verve to endure more boot camps.
The former deputy premier joined over 90 fitness enthusiasts at St Mark’s High School Ground in Mbabane for the monthly Zithande boot camp. The boot camp dubbed ‘Mkhaba Phuma kimi’started at 6am and finished at 9am.
The attendants were taken through different exercises by Zithande Athletics Club coach Nsizwa Thwala. Some of the military style exercises included squats, burpees, twist in, lunges, jumping jacks, power-jumps, jack push-ups, knee highs, killer buns and thighs.
Speaking after the three-hour session, the former DPM said it was of paramount importance that the nation engaged in outdoor activities.

“The importance of exercising cannot be over-emphasised as we are aware that it promotes a health lifestyle. When one gets to exercise, he rarely visits a doctor. I would therefore advise emaSwati to take part in boot camps like this one,” Dlamini said.
He said exercising was not only for a selected age category.
“Exercising should not be a thing of the youth but everyone, young and old. It helps to keep the doctor away. I want to also highlight that we must also be mindful of our diet,” he added.
