JOB SEEKER WINS E15 000 IN ‘SOLO INJE’
MBABANE – Miliswa Nkambule, a 23-year-old job seeker, has won the E15 000 grand prize in 2019 EswatiniBank Cup predict the Champions competition.
This was yesterday at the Times of Swaziland boardroom where the EswatiniBank Public Relations Officer (PRO) Phesheya Vilakati, Times of Swaziland Managing Editor (ME) Martin Dlamini and Sports Editor Lwazi Dlamini were present.
The Etimbutini winner was overjoyed when the news that he was the winner of the E15 000 grand prize was relayed to him.
Over 100 000 entries had been brought by people who made predictions but only Nkambule and 17 others won.
Ntombi Nombuso Shongwe won the second prize of E7 500 while Nelisiwe Tsabedze won E5 000 as the third prize.
Fifteen others won the E500 consolation prize.
Nkambule said he did not really expect to win but was just trying his luck and it was the first time for him to decide to join the competition.
“I do not know what to say, I am lost for words but I am very happy as I did not expect this. It was my first time joining the competition and I just thought let me try my luck,” he said.

Nkambule added that he recently completed his high school and was currently seeking a job and thanked EswatiniBank for the opportunity.
Meanwhile, Vilakati said they were happy with the continued participation of the public in this competition.
“It shows that the public loves and supports the tournament. We would like to thank the Times for allowing us to run the competition in their newspaper,” he said.
He said winners would be contacted by the bank on how they would receive their prizes and further congratulated them all.
