MBABANE – Manzini Ladies and Correctional Services will set the netball courts on fire on Saturday.

The games are scheduled for Zakhele Netball Courts, starting at 10am until 2:30pm. Manzini Ladies assumed the initial position on the log after thrashing Fashions by 52 goals to 27. A lead in goal difference saw the Hub elite ladies team overthrow Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF) from the top of the log to fourth place. They have won all three fixtures with a goal difference of 132. The log leaders will lock horns with the defending champions who are currently at position three.

win

After last weekend’s game, OlympAfrica assumed position two on the log table, having recorded their third win after beating Vixens 74-38. UEDF lost 70-25 to Correctional. Royal Eswatini Police Services have a date with EUDF, OlympAfrica and Fashions will be next at 11:30am. Currently struggling in the bottom three are Royal Swaziland Sugar Corporation (RSSC), Buhleni and Vixens.

In the men’s division, Correctional will be fighting for maximum points in their clash against UEDF as they pursue the top spot currently occupied by REPS following a 73-23 victory against Vixens. The league was sponsored to the tune of E175 000 by Eswatini National Netball Association’s (ENNA) devoted partners, Swaziland Building Society (SBS). This amount reflects a 75 per cent increment compared to last year’s E100 000.
