NOBUHLE INTO FINAL ROUND
MBABANE – She finished the third round of the Ladies European Tour (LET) eight places better than the second round.
She was 48th yesterday, finishing with 73 points, 224 in total from round one to three. That is Eswatini golfer Nobuhle Dlamini who is currently competing in India with other big guns from across the world. A package of E8.3m is in store in the LET. She will today play in the final round and besides the chance of winning cash, she could be one of 15 golfers in the all-women tournament given a card qualifying her to a big tournament scheduled for July in Europe.
She was 56th on Friday of 120 golfers. She was one place better from non-qualification as from 57th upwards, it was the end. The tournament themed Women’s Indian Open to celebrate women in the world, is played at the DLF Golf and Country Club’s golf course. After round three, she is on Par +8, with 224 points, tied with six other players. Round two leaders Australia’s Whitney Hillier fell into position three leaving the initial spot to Christine Wolf. The leading lady has a combined score of 208 and Par-8. Lamina travelled to India after making her money in other tournaments held in Spain and France where she earned E87 000 and E106 000 after ranking 15th and 12th respectively.
