THAI KIT CAN EARN HIGHLANDERS OVER E2M
EZULWINI – “It was all a business investment to make money.” That is what Mbabane Highlanders’ South African Managing Director Chief Ally Kgomongwe said when asked about the Thailand manufacturers for their newest kit, which the team wore for the first time last Sunday against Manzini Wanderers at Somhlolo National Stadium.
This, he said, yesterday during the official unveiling of the new kit from a Thailand manufacturing company.
The kit is not one of your renowned Adidas or Nike brands but a ‘no name’ boasting good quality which is felt in the texture of the material used.
This was in Ezulwini at the Royal Swazi Sun Hotel and Convention Centre.
“There’s nothing we’re getting from the manufacturers but they gave us a good deal which to us is good for business. One can only encourage the Highlanders family to purchase these replicas because the kit comes with everything in both black and white.
“We got the replicas and tracksuits and if they buy, their team will have money as this is a business investment,” Kgomongwe explained when asked outside of the unveiling press conference.
Inside the conference, he said the deal was facilitated by his company, Ally’s Group in South Africa.
“Let’s make the stadium all black and white in our own kit and it can’t come from anywhere else but our Marketing Committee. A replica is an affordable E400 as compared to E750 or E800 for Adidas or Joma, which we started our season with,” he explained as he sounded adamant that there was money to make out of this deal.

The tracksuits, as confirmed by the marketing team led by Kgomotso Machava, will have two prices. The white will be E750 while the black will cost E700.
