EUROPE TO WATCH SIHLANGU, GUINEA-BISSAU QUALIFIER
MBABANE – It’s a Confederation of African Football (CAF) Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Cup 2021 Qualifier match.
However, it will be watched live in some parts of Europe. The match featuring Eswatini away to Guinea-Bissau is scheduled for November 11 and is the opening game for the country’s senior national soccer team, Sihlangu Semnikati. Eurosport 1 will broadcast it live for only Spain, Ireland, United Kingdom and Portugal. This is where the pan-European television sports network channel; a subsidiary of Discovery, Inc. has rights to broadcast the CAF AFCON 2021 Qualifiers.

Papic’s troops start the campaign against AFCON 2019 group stage participants in Egypt, Guinea-Bissau and then move on to host Senegal on November 19 at Mavuso Sports Centre. Meanwhile, Eurosport 1’s live broadcast is slated for 7pm next month. Also worth mentioning is that the channel is available in 73 countries, in 21 different languages, providing viewers with European and international sporting events. Eurosport first launched on European satellites on February 5, 1989. On November 13, 2015, Eurosport changed the name of its main channel into Eurosport 1.

It must be mentioned that this will not be the first time viewers in Europe get to see the national team in action as Eurosport 1 first broadcast live the AFCON 2019 Qualifier matches against Tunisia and Egypt and both were away matches. Prior to those matches, it had been once in the World Cup 2018 Qualifiers and that time, more countries of the 73 they broadcast various sporting events in than the four for the AFCON games.
