SENEGAL SQUAD WORTH OVER E6BN

MBABANE – The difference in class between Senegal and Eswatini in as far as quality is glaring.

If statistics from Transfermarkt.com are anything to go by, then Senegal’s squad will be a force to be reckoned with in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifers.According to the website the squad is worth over E6 billion.

The striking department is worth E3, 743,204,230.00. Among the most expensive players are Liverpool Sadio Mane on E1, 961,551,200.00. The second most expensive department is the defence which is worth E1,830,881,920.00 and midfielders all combined together are worth E1,045,969,920.00 with the goalkeeping department valued at E179,776,080.00.

According to the website Sihlangu is valued at E3, 677,688.00.
 When quizzed for comment Kostadin Papic said the figures do not scare them.
“While it may appear that on paper they look strong, they may not be as good as they are portrayed. It all boils down to preparation and hard work. We are not scared of them,” Papic said.
