NOKWANE – Bakery company Premier Swazi has contributed a sum of E25 000 for the next edition of the Army Commander Shooting tournament.

This was revealed by Premier Swazi Bakery specialist Bheka Khumalo during the launch yesterday at Nokwane Army Headquarters. The tournament, which is billed for November 30, will be staged at Mzimpofu Shooting Range. “We are happy once again to partner with the Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF). We understand that the Army Commander is a big fan of the sport and we hope our continued support will go a long way in improving and developing the sport,” Khumalo said.

The Manager of the UEDF Shooting team, Appollo Ngwenya, thanked the company for the support and said they were looking forward to representing UEDF well in the tournament.

Chairman of the Eswatini Shooting Association (ESA) Sipho Ntshalintshali also concurred with Ngwenya. “We want to thank the sponsor, Eswatini Sports and Recreational Council for ensuring that the sport develops. Without their support, the standard of the play would have not improved this much,” Ntshalintshali said.
