UEDF, REPS RULE ARMY SHOOT

MATSAPHA – They all went home smiling after being victorious in the Army Commander Shooting tournament yesterday.


The Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF) were crowned the champions of the states security category while the Royal Eswatini Police Services (REPS) dominated the individual section. UEDF won the floating trophy, E2 500 and gold medals.

This transpired during the event at Nokwane. REPS duo of Jabu Vilane and Sibusiso Magagula were the champions in the individual category with each taking home E500 plus gold medals.

Presenting the winners yesterday was Brigadier General Derrick Nkambule, who represented the Army Commander Jeffrey Tshabalala. Nkambule thanked all the teams and individuals who came to play in the E25 000-sponsored tournament. He said they were impressed by the standard of playing and the attendance as over 70 shottists made it to the tournament.
