PARKRUN UNITES US – CHIRWA FAMILY

MBABANE – A family has come out to say the parkrun is the best place for family building.

The Chirwa family, who participated in the 146 edition of the Mbabane parkrun, said they had made a habit of participating in the parkrun. The Chirwas were led by the father Roy. Also part of the family was his wife Zandile and daughter Tiamike. Bongani Manana, who is also a regular at the parkrun, was seen jogging with his children, Khujo and Sabusiswa.

“It is always fun to run together as a family. It bonds us as a family and we always look forward to Saturdays,” Zandile said.
Meanwhile, Roy said the parkrun also helped them to keep a healthy lifestyle as a family.

Bongani said even when he want to partake in the parkrun, his children always reminded him about parkrun day every Saturday.
