Highly-placed sources at the ‘beautiful birds’ have confided in this publication that Swallows intends to give the player one more year.

“Mbabane Swallows management are in constant contact with ‘Samba’ and they have promised to engage him officially as their intention is to give him a one-year contract,” confided a source.

According to sources, the speedy winger would have already been officially engaged on the new offer, but Swallows had to wait due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has brought football activities to a halt.

The player could not be immediately drawn for comment over the matter as his mobile phone rang unanswered when called several times.

Swallows Marketing and Communications Manager Mancoba Mabuza was also reached for comment and insisted that Nhleko was a Mbabane Swallows player. All he could say was that the winger was their player.

‘Samba’ is one of the longest serving players at Swallows, having inspired the capital city glamour side to three successive Ingwenyama Cup titles and helping the team reach both the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup group stages.
