MBABANE – International Eswatini star, Felix Badenhorst can’t stop scoring for Mbombela United in their quest to survive the axe in the GladAfrica Championship.

He scored his eigth goal of the season in the league on Saturday afternoon when his team settled for a 1-all draw against Real Kings at the Tsakane Stadium. The former Mbabane Swallows and Manzini Wanderers player scored for the second time in a week, having found the back of the net in the 1-all draw against Uthongathi last Wednesday.

Well-earned

This was a well-earned point for the Mpumalanga-based outfit, as they remain 13th on the log with 29 points. Jomo Cosmos who won 2-1 against Free States Stars to increase their relegation survival chances, are lying on the 14th  position on the log with the same number of points. Badenhorst, who started the match, converted from the penalty spot. Tingwenyama, as Mbombela United are affectionately known, will be back in action against Royal Eagles, who are currently at the log basement.
