EZULWINI – “We can buy any player we want.”

These were remarks made by Mbabane Highlanders Director Ally Kgomongwe when addressing the capital giants supporters at Ezulwini Sports Ground last night.

“Our apologies for coming this late, we were sorting something in Pretoria. What I can assure you is that Tukelo Rantie is coming to join us, not any other team. We are no longer beggars now; we can afford any player we want. If they sign players from local teams, we can sign players from the PSL.All we want is quality for the team,” said Kgomongwe much to the appreciation of the over 50 supporters who had come to witness the official unveiling of the new players.

Some of the players he unveiled officially are former Orlando Pirates midfielder Thamsanqa Sangweni, former Baroka FC star Mandisa Gadla and Siphamandla Mlilo among other players.

He apologised that ‘Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa and Xolani ‘Papi’ Sikhondze were not present during the unveiling.

“They are held up, but I assure you that they are part of the team. I also get questions on when I am going to hire a coach, I want to clarify that I am happy with Dumsani ‘DU’ Makhanya. They are a perfect combination with Siyabonga Bhembe who also acts as a trainer and an assistant coach,” he said. Kgomongwe said he will be in Eswatini to ensure the team is well prepared for the upcoming Premier League game against Royal Leopard. The ‘Black Bull’ will play the police ensemble at King Sobhuza Stadium on Sunday in the 2020/21 season opening game.
