MBABANE – The sky is the limit for Eswatini Under 20 international Lungelo Simelane.

This is after he inspired SuperSport United Under 20 to win the Ekurhuleni Top 8 knockout challenge. He scored twice to see off that his side won the challenge which was played over the weekend at Pretoria University Sports Ground. Simelane scored in their quarterfinals game against Golden Arrows where they won 4-1 and later netted a beautiful goal against Jomo Cosmos. Supersport won 3-2 in the semi-finals.

Tough

“It feels good to win even though it was a tough week for us, playing too many games in a space of five days but we are professionals we had to,” Simelane said. He said it was his first time winning the Ekurhuleni Top 8 knockout challenge and he was over the moon. “We are now preparing for Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday. I am hoping I will be available for selection as I am currently nursing a muscle injury,” he said.
