STOP TAKING BRIBES- EX ERA CHAIRMAN WARNS REFEREES
MBABANE- Former Eswatini Referees Association (ERA) Chairman Sipho Kunene has warned referees to desist from taking bribes.
Kunene was addressing the membership during the ERA Annual General Meeting which was held at Sigwaca House Conference room on Saturday. It was his last speech as the outgoing chairman of the association. “There have been reports that referees are taking bribes. I do not want to believe that is happening. If it is happening it is tarnishing our image as an association. I would like to appeal to referees that we must stop taking bribes because it is also killing football,” Kunene said.
