‘ACE’ NEW MILLING HOT SPURS COACH
MBABANE – Former Moneni Pirates coach Zenzele ‘Ace’ Dlamini has joined Milling Hot Spurs for the upcoming season.
The towering coach confirmed that he had since joined Milling Hot Spurs as their coach after finishing his job with Moneni Pirates. Dlamini said he was approached by the Manzini-based side’s new owner, Sicelo Mavimbela, to help the team. “I was asked by the director to help the team improve from last season’s performance and I agreed as my agreement with Moneni Pirates came to end last season,” Dlamini said. The former Mbabane Swallows coach said he had not signed a contract with the team but a binding agreement with the team had been made.

“I have not signed a contract; I don’t sign contracts as I am a civil servant. It is against the country’s law to have two contracts,” he said. Dlamini said even at the Libhakaniya of Moneni, there was no signed contract but a binding agreement and part of the agreement was to help the team avoid relegation, which he did. He further said he had already outlined his plans for the team as he was looking at helping them improve from last season’s performance. “I have drafted a three-year programme for the team, because to build a team you need to have a specific timeframe which according to me, is three years,” he said. Dlamini said after achieving his goals with the team, he would wait for the team to engage him on another deal.
