MBABANE – Just 21 days into the new year, golfer Zwelisha Dlamini has something to cherish.

This is after Dlamini won the second edition of the Mbabane Golf Club Competition. The competition was played at the club premises on Saturday. Dlamini beat a field of 30 golfers who participated in the competition. He carded a score of 33 points after a count back. Dlamini was followed by Ncamiso Ntshalintshali on the same points (33).

Completing the podium was Brian Mayisela on 31 points after a count back beating Melusi Dlamini, who also scored 31 points. Shinning in the novelties was Siboniso Simelane who won the nearest pin 2/11 while Valentine Maziya won the longest drive award. There was no winner in the longest birdie 8/17 and 7/16. Mbabane Golf Club Captain Fisiwe Vilane congratulated the winners and all golfers who made the competition a success.
