LEOPARD FACE VOVOVO TODAY
MBABANE – After their unfortunate trip to Algeria ended only in Egypt on Wednesday, the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) has scheduled the police side match-day 13th game with Vovovo for this afternoon.
The game was supposed to be played this past weekend but it was put on hold as Leopard were due to travel to Algeria for the game that was billed for Thursday afternoon. They would have only been able to return home yesterday. Leopard could not play the CAF game since all flights to Algeria from Turkey were cancelled. This led to the local side having no choice, but to return home from Egypt. The game has since been re-scheduled for Sunday in Tizi-Ouzou.
‘Ingwe Mabalabala’ will take on tricky Vovovo at the King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium at 2:30pm, while their other pending match with Young Buffaloes is yet to be re-scheduled. This is according to a correspondence copied to this publication by PLE Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati yesterday.
