LETSHEGO, MTN PUMP IN E50 000 FOR MBABANE BUSINESS LEAGUE
MBABANE – Letshego Eswatini and MTN Eswatini have pumped in a sum of E50 000 toward the Mbabane Business League.
This was revealed during the presentation of the inaugural edition of the tournament dubbed MoMo Quick loans Mbabane Business League. The presentation was held at Mbabane Golf Club yesterday. Letshego Eswatini Chief Finance Officer (CFO) Phindile Ndlandla said they were happy to sponsor this competition with their partners MTN Eswatini. “The partnership was founded in 2019 in an effort to bridge the financial inclusive gap in the country through expanding our services to those serviced by the Mobile Money platform. Letshego and MTN Fintech are further expanding their partnership through adding more collaborative services,” said Ndlandla.
She said the services would bring customers access to a variety of products. “MTN Fintech and Letshego eagerly agreed to partner with Mbabane Golf Club through this tournament to bring together all captains of the industry in the Mbabane Golf Club,” she said. Ndlandla further revealed that they would be sponsoring the tournament for the next 10 months. “The Mobile Money platform by the MTN Fintech has indeed reached a great milestone within Eswatini in bridging the gap of financial inclusiveness,” she said. Meanwhile, MTN Fintech CEO Sam Shongwe said they were happy to partner with Letshego and Mbabane Golf Club. He said they were hoping that through the tournament, the sport and networking among businesses would improve. He also said they hoped the tournament would not only promote their products but would develop the sport.
