MTN BLOCKBUSTER FIXTURES FOR EASTERS

MBABANE – The action goes on in the MTN Premier League during the Easter holidays.

There are blockbuster fixtures that will see title chasers Mbabane Highlanders and Young Buffaloes face off while defending champions Royal Leopard are set for a battle against Mbabane Swallows. The week 21 of the league will be played on Good Friday and Saturday. The highly profiled fixture between the log leaders, Highlanders and Buffaloes is scheduled for KaLanga Technical Centre on Saturday, kick-off 2:30pm, while Leopard and Swallows will play at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, where another game between Rangers and Moneni Pirates will take centre stage earlier.

There are five matches billed for Good Friday and the biggest game is the Manzini derby between Manzini Sea Birds and Manzini Wanderers. The match will be played at King Sobhuza II memorial Stadium, kick-off 2:30pm. The Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) Chief Operations Officer (COO) Pat Vilakati released the fixtures yesterday. The games will continue on April 19 during the King’s Birthday holiday. All the eight fixtures under week 21 will be played on the day in different venues. Highlights of week 22 will see Mbabane Highlanders taking on Moneni Prates while Royal Leopard will be up against Denver Sundowns and Young Buffaloes will visit Tambankulu Callies.
