NOBUHLE MISSES CUT IN E3M TOURNEY

MBABANE – Eswatini ace golfer Nobuhle Dlamini’s hopes of getting a share from the whopping purse of about E31 million was shattered.

This was after she failed to make the cut after the second round. The shinning Eswatini golfer was playing in a four-round tournament among ‘big guns’ in the Volvo Car Scandinavian tournament which was played under the Ladies European Tour (LET) banner. The Lobamba-based golfer finished on one-over-par 145 in her second round which derailed her chances of making it to the third round.

This is not the first time the gifted golfer was unlucky to miss the cut as she also failed to make the cut in her last tournament in Italy after round two over a week ago. She carded rounds of 76 and 74 to finish on six-over-par 150, and the cut was at 149. She will play next in a three-round tournament, the Aramco Team series London beginning from this coming Thursday, which is sponsored to the tune of US$1 000 000 (about E15 000 000) at the 73 par Centurion Club, London.
