WAY INN’S ‘SIZIBA’ ESWATINI’S BEST
MBABANE – The first official ECSA men’s open rankings are out.
ECSA stands for Eswatini Cue Sports Association. The national association started ranking players last month but first out was the masters and ladies open rankings. In the masters, David ‘Mdavu’ Masuku is leading on 8.000 points while ladies national team Captain Ncobile Dlamini leads the ladies as she is on 11.000 points. In open men’s rankings, Manzini Regional Pool Association (MRPA) affiliate Way Inn Pool Club’s decorated Zweli ‘Siziba’ Dlamini is on pole position.
Champion
He is the champion of champions after all and in the national team. He won the first champions league ever played late last year, a tournament that consisted of all champions of any tournament on record backdating to the 90s. Siziba has accumulated 8.000 points and is closely followed by Bitcoin Doubles Tournament runner-up and Royal Eswatini Police Service (REPS) Pool Club youngster Siyabonga Dlamini with 7.000 points.
On third there is yet another decorated REPS star Sibusiso Nhlabatsi on 6.000 points with teammate Sithembiso ‘Dodge’ Matsebula behind him on 5.000 points before Hhohho Regional Pool Association (HRPA) affiliate club, Fun Town and national team star Brian Raynor follows on fifth with 4.000 points.
