REPS, CORRECTIONAL CLASH IN VOLLEYBALL FINALS
MBABANE – It will be a clash of the titans in the volleyball finals, come Saturday.
Mavuso Sports Emporium will come to life once again on Saturday when it hosts the finals of the Eswatini National Volleyball Association (ENVA) episode two finals. The games were postponed last week due to the unrest threats. It has been confirmed that they will proceed this weekend. Before the giants and sworn rivals’ men and ladies teams cross swords, in the afternoon fixtures, Bob cats and Ludzeludze male teams will cross swords at 10am in a fight for bronze. It will be followed by what promises to be a feisty clash between Bob Ladies and their female opponents from Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (UEDF), who have a date at noon.
The battle of the forces will get underway at 2pm, starting off with the ladies fighting for gold and bragging rights, followed by their male teams at 4pm. The prize presentation will be held soon after the end of the games. ENVA Vice President Eric Gama said the teams were geared up for the finals after last week’s unexpected postponement. “The teams are geared up for the finals. It’s going to be intense and we hope to have the honour of distinguished guests from the ministry of sports as well as the Eswatini Sports and Recreation Council,” Gama said.
