NEW MC, COACH FOR ‘WESLIANS
MBABANE – Giants Manzini Wanderers are reshuffling their structures ahead of the new campaign.
Changes at the maroon and white outfit are headlined by a shake-up in the coaching personnel. Wanderers Director Sandile ‘Chief’ Dlamini announced a new Management Committee (MC), last night while also confirming that the side had parted ways with Head Coach Velekhaya Mthethwa and his assistant Terisayi Changara. “We’ll announce a new coach tomorrow (today),” he said.
This publication had reported last week that Wanderers were attracting interests from some foreign coaches like Darling Dodo (Zimbabwe), who is a former Denver Sundowns mentor as well as South Africa’s former national under-20 head coach Solly Luvhengo. Another Zimbabwean who was linked with Wanderers was Mandla Mpofu.

Administratively, former Management Committee Chairman Mlungisi Ndzinisa, has been entrusted with the duties of leading the ambitious side again. Ndzinisa is the side’s General Manager on top of heading the public affairs of the team. Other staunch ‘Weslians’ who include Sanele ‘Schuster’Siyaya and Bruce Mthimkhulu have also been roped in to occupy the positions of team manager and head of logistics, respectively. Also in the MC is Pigg’s Peak Magistrate Vusi Thomo who has been appointed the team’s Legal Advisor on top of heading the Human Resources (HR) department.
“The team will resume their pre-season training tomorrow,” said Dlamini. A new National Supporters Committee (NSC) was also expected to be announced last night. Meanwhile, Wanderers finished the past season ranked sixth with only 40 points in 30 games in the 16-team league.
