MBABANE – It was a sterling performance by professional golfer James Pennington alongside South Africa’s K McClatchie.

Pennington was among the winners in the Bain’s Whisky Ubunye Championship at Blue Valley Golf Estate, South Africa. The pair played 201 (64 71 66) in the three rounds tournament under the Sunshine Tour to finish in the 13th spot. The tournament was sponsored to the tune of E1.2 million and it was won by the duo of Rohwer and Bremner who took a four-stroke lead into the betterball final round. The tournament was live on SuperSport over the weekend.
