VB LADIES TEAMS READY FOR VA CUP
MBABANE – “Bring them on, we are ready.”
Volleyball teams, who are part of the Eswatini National Volleyball Association’s VA Cup today at Mavuso Sports Centre in Manzini, have declared their readiness ahead of today’s games. Teams said they were eagerly waiting for this day to arrive as preparations had already been intensified.

It is understood that some other teams even skipped the border in an effort to learn from their regional counterparts. Today is the official launch of ENVA VA Cup, whereby ladies and males’ second round games will play simultaneously.
What some of the teams’ captains had to say;
Philile Lokothwayo - Bob Ladies: Team spirit is very high even though we experienced some few challenges. Our goal for today’s matches is to make it into the semifinal, and judging with the training, we will achieve it. We would also like to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the sponsor and we hope for more sponsorship.
Gcwalisile Dlamini - Correctional: The team has trained very hard and all of us are ready to play and are fit. Our promise to other teams is that no team will take a set from Correctional. I would also like to thank the commissioner general and the team management for giving us time to prepare for such games and we promise to deliver results.
Fisiwe Magagula - Ace Angels: We will give out our best and we are aiming to reach the finals. Players are happy that the day has final arrived for them to prove their worth in the game of VB. Come one, come all and wathch the interesting sport. Without the sponsor, the tournament would not be a success.
Nontsikelelo Jele - REPS: We will rise above all odds despite some few challenges we had. We will play as team and with the players I have, we will conquer and reach the semis. We are really grateful to the sponsor who chose us even though most undermine VB. Let everybody come and watch the beauty of the games!
